Jorj Kowszun

Jorj's CV in brief:

Jorj is an educational consultant with a particular interest in educational excellence and coaching for learning. His work includes bid writing and facilitating partnership. He also works with managers and teachers to improve teaching and learning. His company, Cogency Research and Consulting Ltd provides strategic educational services and support for e-learning.

Jorj studied Mathematics at the Universities of Cambridge, Warwick and Oxford and has an MBA from Brighton. He started his working career in the City of London but after a few years felt that his vocation lay in education.

He has taught in the state and independent secondary sectors, in schools, colleges and HE and throughout the age-range. For sixteen years he worked at deputy level covering all the major functions, including being a college principal. His last role before he became a consultant was deputy in a very large multi-site general FE college
